Why is it Pink?

“Why Is It Pink?” a little girl once asked me, looking at a pink circular canvas hanging on my wall. This work builds from the single pink circular canvas I painted; a composition of overlapping circles extruded to form an abstract pink cloud. So, why is it pink? It was inspired by the pink clouds seen during those precious moments before sunset; dream-like moments that the artist Turner captured so well.
