About
We are a multi-disciplinary design practice with architecture and design projects all over the world. We offer a full professional design service from concept right through to construction, with a wide range of experience in most sectors, and a focus on small to medium scale residential, F & B and retail projects. The Practice
We are a multi-disciplinary design practice with a range of international architecture, design, and art projects. We offer a full professional design service from concept right through to construction, with experience in most sectors and a focus on small to medium scale residential, cultural, and retail projects. Beyond architecture and interior design, we also engage in custom design work, and take on art commissions. We’d love to hear from you, so please contact us if you are looking for an architect, designer, or artist, or are simply interested in what we do! The practice brings together the professionalism and technical knowledge of a trained architect with an artistic vision and a 'total art' approach to architecture. Current and recent work includes an architecture project – a ‘Weavers’ Centre’ in Kolkata, India - and a concrete sculpture - ‘Swimmer’, which was at Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe 2024.
The practice Principal, Shaumyika Sharma, is an architect (RIBA UK, ARB UK) who has worked in the field of architecture in the US, the UK, Australia, Singapore and India for almost 20 years. Her most extensive experience has been at architecture practices in London and she has also taught architecture and interior design at the National University of Singapore, Cooper Union and NYU, and is currently teaching at Parsons at The New School. She holds a Master's (Advanced Architectural Design) from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture (with Honours) from the University of Western Australia and completed her professional registration at The Bartlett, UCL, London.
Principal’s Bio
Shaumyika Sharma’s visual vocabulary was informed by the shimmering beaches of Australia where she grew up, and the colours of the rich textile traditions of her native India. As an architecture student at the University of Western Australia, she subscribed to the Bauhaus ‘total art’ ideal. Her architecture career began in practice in London, where she also completed her registration at The Bartlett, before moving to New York for her Master’s at Columbia University. Exploring the integration of digital and analogue tools, she developed a course she taught at The Cooper Union entitled Architecture Through A Mixed Media Lens. The ethos of this course informs her New York-based multidisciplinary practice - founded in Singapore - encompassing architecture, design, and art. Drawing inspiration from vastly different landscapes and cityscapes, her work across media builds on the cross-cultural appeal of abstract forms and geometry.
