The Bayer Facade, Roermond, Netherlands

Shortlisted for the Euramax Façade competition, this proposal makes use of technology that can directly print a photograph onto aluminium. The images that form the façade are of stop motion photography simulating the processes of converting bauxite into aluminium. The intention was to celebrate the primary material of the façade.
