Take It Back

A docu-art chronicle of the simple acts of ‘remaking’ on New York City streets. The title for this series came from a built project I completed in London while working for a local architecture pratice. The day after the very last nut and bolt were put in place, a graffiti artist had the good grace to sign ‘take it back’ on the perfectly finished white walls. For years, I pondered the significance of these three words, and now I feel they have found their new home.
