Slope Pazar, Istanbul

Inspired by the urban fabric of Istanbul, our design for a market (‘Pazar’ in Turkish) reimagines Istanbul’s lively streets meandering through the city’s undulating hills, as a series of ramps coiling around a central courtyard. Market stalls are placed along the ramps, and a gallery at the top with a glass floor visually connects the courtyard to the gallery space.
