Rock Star Bus Shelter, Athens, GA, USA

This proposal for a bus shelter in Atlanta Georgia was based on the concept ‘art rocks’. The scheme makes reference to outdoor rock concerts; concert lighting, movement, the stage. A coloured glass canopy is based on the colours of concert lighting. Like an outdoor stage, the seat is black, sitting above vegetation. It is held in tension with chains allowing a gentle swaying motion.
