Inverse Tree, Singapore

Examining the delicate balance between nature and human-made, we photographed light filtering through trees in the natural rainforest in Singapore. We traced over this, and replaced the natural light from the photograph with 100% solar lights. In nature, sunlight filters through trees from above. Our proposal inverts the natural relationship, using solar lamps emanating light from below, still relying on sunlight for power. The proposal mimics nature and is also dependent on nature.
