Honeycomb Sukkah

Honeycomb Sukkah, Toronto, Canada

Honeycomb sukkah takes inspiration from geometry and nature. The geometry draws from the Star of David; the hexagon in the centre is the inspiration for the structure of the sukkah. The individual components can all be prefabricated off site out of plywood and dowels. Schach (natural material) covers the roof and is used to form the third wall. ( A sukkah is a temporary structure built during the Jewish festival of Sukkot).
