Heart(h) & Field, Garden City Typology

Garden City Typology with four houses on an imagined site in Japan. The heart of the house in this scheme is earth (heart + earth=hearth). The central void in each of the four houses focuses on a vertical inside-outside relationship, between earth and sky. A glass platform moves up and down through this void. Continuous landscaped surfaces connect the vertical facades of the house with the garden.
