Filmy House, Mojave Desert

Architecture can interact with movement to reflect cinematic ideas. Moving images are ‘captured’ on the reflective ‘screens’ on the front facades of this house, comprised of pivoting glass doors - transparent on the inside, reflective on the outside. The curvilinear roof structures create a sense of movement and create a visual connection back to the context of the existing landscape in the Mojave desert.
