Continuous Monument
Inspired by Italian architects Superstudio’s theoretical drawings from The Continuous Monument series, we produced a series of ‘grids in space’. The geometric brass, silver and bronze pieces were conceived with reference to actual grid cities as well as theoretical concepts of grids in outer space. Superstudio believed that “by extending a single piece of architecture over the entire world they could ‘put cosmic order on earth’”. Our aim was to bring a little cosmic order to everyday life.
