Shortlisted for the Line of Site Competition (Brief 2), ‘Bicycle Tree’ is an idea for a bike structure that occupies virtually no ground space. In a place like Manhattan, open space is precious, but bikes are useful. The intended sites for Manhattan’s Bicycle Trees are Central Park and Union Square. The two locations are hubs of activity, well connected to each other and places of interest.
