Drift Mark

Drifting through cities, monuments and features in the landscape are our landmarks, our points of reference. A drift mark on a coin is a streaky, discoloured area caused by foreign matter. As travelers, perhaps we create drift marks on the city; in these photos the light-leak effect of the camera creates drift marks on the images, giving them their dream-like or cinematic quality.
